For bonus points, make a hopscotch course and have your kids work on their jumping and balance skills, as this will help them build strong ankles and feet!

4. Board Games – Instead of just plopping down in front of the television at night, why not challenge your spouse or your family to a game night? Bust out Monopoly or Chutes and Ladders, or break out that 1,000 piece puzzle. You’ll find it easier to connect with your family when you’re all focused on one engaging activity, and that can do wonders for your mental health. Challenging your brain is a healthy way to pass the time, and odds are you’ll have some fun along the way.
5. Master A New Skill – Finally, if you have more time on your hands now that you’re not commuting to work, consider taking up a new hobby. Learn how to woodwork, fix the window in your child’s bedroom or update your bathroom. Come out of this quarantine with a new set of skills or a healthy new hobby you enjoy.
