Dr. Silverman was brought on to share his medical knowledge in regards to the coronavirus, and more specifically, about a lesser know symptom called “COVID toe.” Some patients with the coronavirus, particularly younger children, are sometimes presenting symptoms that include a swelling and discoloration of the toes. Dr. Silverman talks a little bit about the condition and whether or not it is something we should be worried about.
Later in the broadcast, Dr. Silverman explains why skin conditions and respiratory issues are often linked, and he provides his best advice for anyone who believes they may be dealing with the beginning stages of the coronavirus or a similar health condition.
