Loving Your Feet in February
Here are some of the ways February can be hard on your feet, and some tips for keeping your feet healthy this month.
Valentine’s Day – Valentine’s Day isn’t always hard on your feet, unless you’re spending hours at the mall trying to find that perfect gift. Dry Skin Prevention – If you’re running through chap-stick like it’s candy, other areas of your body are also likely affected by the elements. Preventing dry and cracked skin on your feet is a must, especially because of how often you use your feet on a daily basis. These dry skin prevention tips were originally written for diabetics, but these are good tips to follow for anyone who wants to prevent cracking skin during these cold winter months.
Basketball – Basketball is usually in full swing for high school athletes, and ankle sprains are the most common injury in the sport. Learn how to prevent foot and ankle injuries while playing basketball in these posts!
Vacation – Winter blues got you down? Take a vacation! But if you’re going to fly somewhere warm, check out these posts on how to safely travel if you have poor circulation, and how to travel if you’re on crutches!
