Anesthesia/Pain Management

We understand and specialize in identification of peripheral mechanical and neuritic factors responsible for the development and recurrent symptoms of complex regional pain syndrome. The members of our practice are acutely aware and prepared for how difficult and challenging this group of patients can be. We respect your very important role in pre- and postoperative patient care, and hope to work collaboratively. For example, we encourage patient’s with complex regional pain syndrome to undergo perioperative lumbar sympathetic nerve blocks both before and after surgery to help prevent and treat flares respectively. Recognizing that your input is essential to the creation of individual perioperative pain management pathways, we encourage this and other coordinated efforts.
Chiropractor

While specializing in Orthopaedic Ankle and Foot trauma and reconstruction, Dr. Silverman is comfortable with the management of all aspects of musculoskeletal trauma.
As an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Silverman partners with other orthopaedic surgeons to share emergency department call. Even so, he is routinely available by mobile phone to consult regarding injury management, admissions, and to arrange urgent follow up.
