We are excited to announce that Silverman Ankle & Foot will once again be participating in the annual charity event Our Hearts To Your Soles. This is a truly wonderful event that we look forward to each year! Here’s some more information about the event.
Our Hearts To Your Soles 2016 will take place Tuesday, November 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at the Dorothy Day Center in St. Paul. For those of you unfamiliar with the center, it is located at 183 Old 6th Street in St. Paul. Not only will Silverman Ankle & Foot be providing the financial support for the event, but Dr. Silverman will be in attendance to provide foot screenings and help fit attendees with shoes!
What Is Our Hearts To Your Soles?
Our Hearts To Your Soles is a charitable event that helps provide medical screenings and essential footwear to individuals who don’t always have access to those supplies. In year’s past we’ve provided area homeless and financially burdened individuals with supplies such as shoes, socks, orthotic inserts, blankets, jackets and personal hygiene bags, and we also provide medical screenings, foot health assessments and act as a medical resource for individuals who can’t easily get to a healthcare professional.
This is a great event that always occurs around Thanksgiving, and it always allows us to reflect on the things in life we are thankful for and give back to others in our community. This will be our 12th year taking part in the event, and each year the night surpasses our wildest expectations.
