Our Hearts To Your Soles 2016 is tomorrow! We’ve been preparing for this day for the last couple of months, and we’re just putting the final touches on everything to ensure tomorrow night is a huge success. We have a wonderful time at every Our Hearts To Your Soles event, and we know tomorrow’s event will be the same.
In case you missed our initial announcement, here are the event details.
What: Our Hearts To Your Soles 2016
Where: Dorothy Day Center – 183 Old 6th Street in St. Paul.
When: 6-8 p.m.
Who: Local doctors, footwear specialists and legal experts will be on hand to provide medical screenings, hand out foot supplies and share free health and legal advice to homeless and financially burdened individuals in the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.
Why: Every year we partner up with other organizations like Red Wing Shoes and Superfeet to provide necessary supplies to individuals in our area who may not otherwise have the means to attain these items. These everyday essentials like shoes, socks and a blanket are things that we often take for granted, but to others it can make all the difference. At least year’s event, we gave out hundreds of shoes, socks, orthotic inserts, blankets, jackets and hygeine bags, and we will be giving away similar supplies at tomorrow’s event.
