Keeping Your Feet Safe In July
Here’s a look at some of the ways July can test your feet:
4th of July – The 4th of July is almost here, which means time by the water and maybe a fireworks show. However, all that time outside can also cause problems for your feet. In this blog, we share some tips for keeping your feet safe however you decide to celebrate the 4th. We also have some additional safety tips if you’re going to be lighting off some fireworks.
Heat-Related Issues – The summer heat can be great if you’re by a lake, but if you’re out for a run or training for a marathon, that heat can become overbearing and cause health problems. Summer Running – If you can beat the heat, the summer is a wonderful time to explore the Twin Cities with a run. To help you check out some of the more picturesque routes, we wrote a blog on five summer running hot spots in the Twin Cities. Check it out!
Swim Safety – If you’re going to be keeping cool by the pool this summer, make sure you know how to help prevent accidental drownings. You can also check out these tips for preventing water-related foot and ankle injuries.
Back To School Shoes – As July comes to a close, it’s time to start thinking about back to school shopping. We’ve put together a few blogs that will help ensure you pick out the right shoes to help prevent injuries in your child.
