We are less than a week away from our free nutrition class, and space is getting limited. We wanted to put out one more reminder to let people know that they still have time to RSVP for the one-hour class if they are interested in learning some simple ways to be healthier. You can learn more about the class by checking out our original blog post about the class, but we’ll recap it here in case this is the first you’re hearing about it.
This Saturday, February 24th, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Silverman Ankle & Foot will be hosting a free diet and wellness class at our clinic. The class will be hosted by local licensed nutritionist Marissa Olsen, known as The Carnivore Nutritionist. Marissa has personally studied and experimented with countless eating styles and diets, including vegetarian, vegan, raw foodist, fruitarian, paleo, gluten-free, anti-candida, ketogenic, carnivore, animal-based, and protein-sparing modified fasting (PSMF). With the help of a revamped approach to diet and wellness, Marissa was able to lose 70 pounds and keep it off for almost a decade now, as well as put her multiple autoimmune diseases into complete remission.
Our one-hour class will cover a bevy of topics, including but not limited to:
- Marissa’s background and education
- The history of the human diet
- The best and worst foods for the human body
- How obesity and diet-related diseases develop
- Food prep, macros, and calories
- The best forms of exercise
- How to best lose weight
- How to heal the gut
- Supplementation
The class will run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a half hour Q and A session to follow. Best of all, the class is completely free, so grab your spouse, your sister or your friend and come join us on Saturday for our wellness class! We just ask that you RSVP so we know how many people to expect. You can quickly RSVP by filling out the form below. We hope to see you Saturday, and if you have any questions before then, just give our team a call at (952) 224-8500. Thanks, and we’ll see you soon!
