The leaves are changing colors, and that means we’re once again drawing closer to our favorite event of the year, Our Hearts To Your Soles! We’re excited to announce that Silverman Ankle & Foot will once again be participating in this awesome event.
If you’re unfamiliar with Our Hearts To Your Soles, it’s a charity event that provides footwear and free foot and ankle health screenings to homeless and financially-burdened individuals in the community.
Our Hearts to Your Soles 2015 will take place on Tuesday, November 24 at the Dorothy Day Center located at 183 Old 6th Street in St. Paul. Silverman Ankle and Foot will once again provide the financial support for the event, and Dr. Silverman will be on hand to provide medical screenings and help fit attendees with new shoes! Dr. Silverman said he’s looking forward to another wonderful event.
“Our Hearts To Your Soles is one event that I look forward to every year, and each year I am blown away by the community support,” said Dr. Silverman. “Each annual event surpasses my wildest expectations, and I have no doubt that the same will be said about this year’s event.
Dr. Silverman acknowledged that the event always has a host of wonderful supporters. Red Wing Shoes and Dignity U Wear will be donating shoes and socks for the event, Superfeet plans to hand out 500 pairs of orthotic inserts and personal hygiene bags, and local medical specialists and representatives from Schuler’s Shoes will be on hand to provide foot and ankle health screenings and fit attendees with their new pairs of shoes.
