Our Hearts to Your Soles 2018 is almost here! This will be the twelfth year that Silverman Ankle & Foot has been involved in the event, and we’re going to try and make this the best year yet.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with OHTYS, it’s an annual event where the community comes together to provide shoes, socks, foot screenings and other supplies to homeless and financially burdened individuals in the area. It’s a truly wonderful event that helps to give back to those in our community who could use a hand gearing up for another Minnesota winter. Here are the event details.
What: Our Hearts To Your Soles 2018.
Where: Catholic Charities Opportunity Center, 740 East 17th Street, Minneapolis.
When: Tuesday, November 20 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Last year’s event was a huge success, and we were able to fit nearly 350 attendees with socks, shoes, hygiene kits, orthotic inserts, flu shots and much more. If you’d like to read more about last year’s event, check out the recap post we wrote after the event.
Volunteers Needed
We’re still looking for volunteers to assist with event setup, which will begin two hours before the event. We’re looking for volunteers to assist with setup from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m, and then we’re also looking for volunteers to help with cleanup once the event ends at 7:30 p.m.
