The David Lewis Memorial Our Hearts To Your Soles 2022 event is only a week away, and we’re extremely excited about being able to put on this event again after COVID-19 cancelled the last two! However, in order to make sure the night runs as smoothly as possible, we’re still hoping to find some volunteers to assist with the event. If you or someone you know would be willing to help assist with some basic aspects of the event, we’d be forever grateful. Still Looking For Volunteers
We’re still in need of volunteers for the event, and we’re asking for people to consider helping during one of the two shifts, either from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. or from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The early shift would help with things like setup, unboxing of shoes, and shoe lacing, while the second shift would help with shoe fitting, shoe box disposal and general event assistance and cleanup after the event concludes at 7:30.
We’re just looking for basic assistance to help ensure the event is the success we know it can be, and we’re hoping we can find a few more people to help. If you’re at all interested in sparing two and a half hours next Wednesday, please send an email to Rachel about your availability. And if you know of any groups or teens in need of service hours who may be interested in helping with a charity event, please send them these details or pass along their information to Rachel.
We’re looking forward to another wonderful event, but we still need a few extra hands to make it a success. We can’t wait to see you next Wednesday, and please let us know if you can donate a couple hours to help out a great cause.
