We’re gearing up for the big transition to Resurgens in Georgia, but before we start a new era, we want to take a moment to reflect on why we have this opportunity in the first place.
Replacing Dr. Scott
During the interview process with Resurgens Orthopaedics, we learned that the position was available because a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon was retiring from the practice. His name is Dr. David Scott, and from what we can tell, he was a renowned surgeon that was incredibly well liked by his peers and his patients. We always like to take a closer look at Google Reviews to see what patients had to say about their experience with a care center or a particular surgeon, and most patients left glowing reviews for Dr. Scott. Here’s just a snippet of what you can find on his now-closed Google Review page:
“Dr. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and I felt like I was in excellent hands. He understands sports injuries and seemed committed to getting me on the mend quickly.”
“This place is the best. From the moment you walk in the door until you walk out again, they are friendly and courteous. The waiting room is huge with 2 separate areas (a table and 4 chairs in one area with couches and lots of chairs), a huge rack of magazines and a very nice restroom. The staff at the front desk are so quick and efficient. I love Dr. Scott. I really wish he wasn’t retiring at the end of the year but he assured me that I will like his replacement.”
“Dr. Scott is incredible! I have been having issues with my heels, feet , and Achilles tendon for years. I came in after seeing other doctors and Dr. Scott knew exactly what I had to do. Which was have 2 different surgeries in each heel and Achilles tendon. He made this so simple and easy. Besides that his head nurse Caryn is accessible anytime you have a question or need help! I can’t not give them enough stars!! Thank you both!!”
Dr. Scott has over 44 years of medical experience, and we can’t imagine how many people he’s helped during his time in the medical field. We know that we have very large shoes to fill, and we’re confident that we can uphold the standard that Dr. Scott and the team at Resurgens has set. We look forward to meeting this challenge head on!
